Kevin McElhinney


Kevin is a Partner at Gibson & Associates and heads up our Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department and oversees the Personal Injury and Licensing Units of the firm.

Kevin provides expert advice on a wide array of contentious and non-contentious court applications and regularly represents financial institutions and insurance companies on an agency basis before the District and Circuit Courts.

Kevin is a member of “Abhaile”, a government scheme for homeowners in mortgage arrears and represents distressed borrowers in his role as the Duty Solicitor for Donegal in repossession applications before the Circuit Court.

Kevin obtained his Law Degree from the University of Glasgow before relocating to Donegal and completing the Professional Practice Course at Blackhall Place.  Kevin has also holds the Law Society Certificate in High Courts Civil Advocacy
