I graduated from Atlantic Technological University with a Bachelor of Arts in Law with Criminal Justice. Following my undergraduate degree, I completed the eight FE-1 examinations and the Professional Practice Course at Blackhall Place with the Law Society of Ireland, on completion of which I was awarded the Professional Diploma in Legal Practice. I also hold certification from the Law Society of Ireland in dispute resolution, child law, employment law, and criminal law, all of which are areas of particular interest to me.

Areas of Specialism / Interest

I have a particular interest in citizenship and immigration law, judicial review, and human rights law, as well as family law and employment law. These areas of law involve important issues relating to individual rights, access to justice, and the protection of fundamental rights.

What I Enjoy Most About Being a Solicitor in Ireland

Variety in Work
Each case brings unique challenges, keeping the work interesting and dynamic.

Client Relationships
Opportunity to build strong, trusted relationships with clients.

Problem Solving & Outcomes
Satisfaction in resolving complex issues and helping clients achieve the best possible results.

Experience and Career Journey

Before pursuing my legal career, I worked in banking and compliance with Ulster Bank after completing my undergraduate degree. This role gave me valuable experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, and client relations, skills that continue to inform my approach to legal practice.

Community Involvement

Outside of my role as a Solicitor, I am actively involved in my local community through my GAA club, where I play on the Senior Ladies team. The sport has given me a strong appreciation for teamwork, dedication, and community spirit, values that I also bring to my professional work.
